These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Folder Shark WordPress plugin ("Product") and related services ("Services") provided by Derek Bryant ("we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing or using the Product, you agree to these Terms.

1. Product Description

Folder Shark is a WordPress plugin that adds virtual folder organization to the WordPress Media Library, posts, pages, and custom post types. The Product is available under the following license tiers:

• Starter — 1 website license
• Pro — 6 website licenses
• Enterprise — 100 website licenses

Each license is valid for the number of websites specified at the time of purchase.

2. Purchases and Payment

All purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, tax collection, and invoicing on our behalf.

The Product is available as either:

• Yearly subscription — Billed annually. Automatically renews unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Lifetime purchase — One-time payment. Includes updates and support for the lifetime of the Product.

3. License Grant

Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Product on the number of websites specified by your license tier. This license includes:

• Access to all current and future Pro features included in your tier
• Technical support via email
• Product updates for the duration of your license

4. Restrictions

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Product to third parties
• Use the Product on more websites than your license allows
• Modify or reverse-engineer the Product for redistribution purposes
• Remove or alter any license or copyright notices in the Product
• Use the Product in any way that violates applicable law

5. Support

We provide technical support for the Product via email. Support includes assistance with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Response times are not guaranteed but we strive to respond within 24–48 hours during business days.

6. Updates

We may release updates to the Product from time to time. Yearly subscribers receive updates while their subscription is active. Lifetime purchasers receive updates for the lifetime of the Product.

7. Warranty Disclaimer

The Product is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Product will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Folder Shark shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Product.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Product is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Product after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
